My Main Research Interests

I am an observational seismologist, and my research focuses on the development of advanced seismic methodologies in Earth Sciences to improve our understanding of the structure and internal dynamics of the Earth, with complementary applications in planetary seismology. My main research interests include seismic interferometry for imaging and monitoring, seismic wave propagation, and Earth-interior imaging.

A central aspect of my work is addressing fundamental limitations in seismology, such as the detection of weak signals in complex records, wave propagation in heterogeneous media, and ambiguities in inverse problems. This approach has led to the development of original methods that enable high-resolution seismic imaging across different spatial scales and the temporal monitoring of crustal processes using both natural and anthropogenic seismic signals.
